Each person who wants to become a director of a corporation or a designated partner in an LLP is given a special director identification number. Describe DIN KYC. While filling out the form, the Unique Personal Mobile Number and Personal E-mail ID would have to be mandatorily indicated and would be duly verified by One Time Password (OTP).
Filing of DIR 3 KYC would be mandatory for Disqualified Directors also.
Documents Required, if DIN allotted between 01st April 2021 to 31st March 2022:
After the expiry of the due date by which the KYC form is to be filed, the MCA21 system will mark all approved DINs as deactivated with a reason as Non- filing of DIR 3 KYC.
After the due date filing of DIR 3 KYC in respect of such deactivated DINs shall be allowed upon payment of Rs. 5,000/- only, without prejudice to any other action that may be taken.
The 30th day of September is the deadline for directors who are obliged to file the DIR-3 KYC form. If they fail to do so, their DIN will be marked as “Deactivated owing to non-filing of DIR-3 KYC,” and their status will remain Deactivated until KYC is completed with a charge of Rs. 5000. All KYC documents must be attested by professionals, according to the rule (CS, CA, CMA). Verified: OTP generated over the director’s specified personal email address and mobile number must be used for verification.
Every Director who was assigned a DIN on or before the end of the financial year and whose DIN status is “Approved” would be mandated to file form DIR-3 KYC before the 30th of September of the immediately following financial year, starting with the fiscal year 2019–20.
For the fiscal year 2022–2023, everyone who received a “Director Identification Number (DIN/DPIN)” on or before March 31, 2022, and whose DIN status is “Approved,” must submit Form DIR-3 KYC by October 5, 2022, in order to update their KYC information in the system.
The user must sign in to the MCA Portal and update his KYC by validating the OTP on both his email and mobile device. Submit the form after checking, then create the challan. In the case of web-based DIR-3 KYC, no professional qualification is necessary.
